SECTION TO ADAM 9.25E FOR EDITS…Offered in four phases, the Nebraska Cooperative Council’s Director Certification Program provides cooperative directors with essential knowledge and tools to effectively govern and lead their organizations. The program enhances directors’ understanding of director roles, and fiduciary and legal responsibilities, cooperative principles, financial oversight, and strategic decision-making. By participating, directors strengthen their leadership skills, stay informed about current industry challenges, and contribute to the long-term success and integrity of their cooperative. DCP is conducted annually in January.
Phases 3 and 4 will be offered January 6-7, 2027 and facilitated by Dr. Brian Briggeman, Kansas State University; Cary Sandell, CoBank; Amy Ryan, Farm Credit Foundations; and panelists John McClelland, Retired General Manager of Garden City Co-op and Neil Stedman, Bd Chair of Frontier Co-op.

Registration
Let your cooperative know you’d like to attend. Cooperatives are asked to register all of their participants. Please register by December 23, 2026 so we have accurate counts for the hotel for room set-up and meals. Registration includes Phases 3 and 4 and is $200 per person for members. The online registration button will be added below in early November 2026.
Overnight Accommodations
Contact the Crowne Plaza (which is attached to the conference center) directly at 308/238-7000. Make reservations by December 9, 2026 and state that you are with the Nebraska Cooperative Council to receive the special room rate of $159.95.
Cancellations
Must be made through the Council office at 402/475-6555. Full refunds through December 30, 2026; no refunds after this time.
