Director Certification Program – Phases 3 and 4

Wed-Thur, January 6-7, 2027

Offered in four phases,  the Nebraska Cooperative Council’s Director Certification Program provides cooperative directors with essential knowledge and tools to effectively govern and lead their organizations. The program enhances directors’ understanding of director roles, and fiduciary and legal responsibilities, cooperative principles, financial oversight, and strategic decision-making. By participating, directors strengthen their leadership skills, stay informed about current industry challenges, and contribute to the long-term success and integrity of their cooperative.  DCP is conducted annually in January.

Phases 3 and 4 will be offered January 6-7, 2027.

Cooperative Intern Retreat

Our annual Cooperative Intern Retreat is an interactive program and provides a basic Co-op 101 stressing the governance, patronage and members equity pieces, a CEO roundtable with CEOs who rotate between the groups of interns so that everyone has a chance to meet and ask questions of the CEOs, and an agricultural producer panel featuring three young producers and agricultural leaders.
